Dear soloxte, sorry for the late reply. We can tell you the following: the plastic shell is manufactured since their reintroduction in 1998 in its original form from polypropylene. Due to the plastic injection molding it now is possible to integrate the shock mounts directly into the plastic. This way the base is directly bolted to the shell which gives the chair its tremendous robustness. Since the attachment consisting of the four elements is injected directly in the aluminum-plastic, there can be minimal sink marks in the shell that are visible in a certain light. These sink marks have, however, no influence on the strength and quality of the shell. Kind Regards, Vitra
Comprate le copie, a me girano le balle tutte le volte che sposto le sedie. Invece che darle "tremendous robustness" potevano farle solo robuste ma con una seduta senza crateri.
