I have purchased the Twice table di Bonaldo and wish to suspend a light, or lights above it. The purpose of the light is to purely illuminate the dining area and not the room.
My delema is that I really like the O Space but am afraid that my ceiling is far too low to appreciate it. What do the experts think. All recommendations will be greatly appreciated. The distance between table and ceiling is 1.65 cm

Do you mean 230cm from floor to ceiling? Is it regular?

Hyde, scusa se non ti rispondo nella tua lingua ma sono parecchio, troppo 'arrugginito'.. In effetti 240cm è un soffitto molto basso: l'unica è una plafoniera od una sospensione da posizionare proprio sul tavolo, dalle dimensioni complessive contenute, con un'emissione diffusa e che non abbagli..
La prima cosa che mi viene in mente è la X-ray della ALT Luci Alternative (recentemente molto apprezzata qui in forum), sospensione/plafone, di cui schede/costi:

La X Ray mi dice poco e, se sono honesto, la O space non va bene per l'ambiente. Ho un ambiente molto eclectico dove ho messo la moderna con due, tre mobile deco di qualita in giro. Sono anche una collezionista di un certo livello della arte e sculture di Carlo Zauli che e in mosto per tutto la casa.
E stato consigliato la Clavius di Axolight. Mi sembre bella ma molto costoso per quello che e. Faccio un po fatica giustificare il prezzo. Lo so, "more is less" ma in questo caso non riesco vedere, o meglio dire capire, perche ha un costo cosi allevato.

do you mean the Clavius suspension or the Clavius ceiling version?

Hi amluci. I suppose I mean the Clavius suspension. It measures 100cmx22cm and uses 3 light bulbs. The more I see it the more I find it desirable. Can't justify the price though.

in my opinion, if your celing is 240, an important suspension like the Clavius one is not the best choice you can do. I've seen some suspension (i.e. Plissè by Luceplan) and my idea is that they require a higher ceiling to be emphasized...because if a table is approximately 80 cm high, and the Clavius need to be installed at 1 mt from the ceiling to be "good", then you'll have only 60 cm or lessfrom the table to the suspension...

but this is only my idea

You are quite right amluci, it's not ideal but it could just work. What other choice do I have, remembering that I do not wish to illuminate the rest of the room. It should only light up the table, my "Toio" will do the rest. Do you prefer the plisse to the clavius?
What else can you suggest instead of a suspension, a plafoniera is out of the question as they are horrible.

Thank you Zawa for joining in the debate. The table and chairs shown in your picture are much trendier than the Twice therefore I don't think Feesby would work well.
I have also decided that a rectangle light would look better than a round one. Round light for a round table and square with square. There goes my idea about getting the OSpace!!! That is the good thing about this forum, it definitely assists.

Io ho sempre visto ambientazioni della o'space molto bassa sul tavolo, e i piace visivamente la vedo comunque leggera, non incombente
